OUR STORY

It all started in 2019. At that time I had a grooming shop in Peace River. Someone posted on Facebook that there was a Husky on the highway by Brownvale. I thought I’d keep an eye out on the way home. Believe it or not, when I drove in the driveway that Husky was here sitting outside my dogs enclosure.

I was able to find the owner and they picked him up right away.

A short time afterwards I was contacted by the daughter and she told me that her dad was impressed with the way I was with Shadow and wanted to know if I’d like to have him.

I asked if it would be okay if I found him a good home instead and the rest is history. Shadow is still with his adopters not far from me and is living a great life!

It hasn’t been an easy, but rescue is never easy. Losing a life takes a toll on you in a way that many would never understand.

You do your best every day no matter what and you do it for the dogs. Life long friends are made and some are lost.

Tsintah is a small rescue and we believe to the core that quality out weighs quantity. We want our dogs to live their best possible lives while in our care. You all mean the world to us no matter what capacity and we couldn’t do this without you!
